Canning fig preserves … a family affair

Made 5 jars fig preserves
This is the first year our fig tree decided to produce enough fruit for us to practice our canning skills. Secret weapon … add a little brandy while cooking the figs. Next year watch out … we’ll be giving out jars as Christmas presents!
